Physicochemical Properties: orange red powder; insoluble in water and usual organic solvents; orange yellow when dissolved in concentrated sulfuric acid; blue solution when reduced by alkaline sodium hydrosulfite solution; good associative strength to cotton fiber; bright orange when the fiber is dyed; good color shielding; also as organic pigment.
